Our Approach

Holistic Solutions brings together a diverse, interdisciplinary team of graduate students in the field of urban planning and urban design.  The think tank works with Hahn and Hahn Team, Inc. to achieve the goal of creating economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable communities.  Our Think Tank  team brings a fresh and creative perspective to some of branding, urban planning’s most pressing challenges.  These include:

John Chenoweth

John Chenoweth joins our sustainable development team with a successful background in technology business where he has analyzed market requirements, defined product solutions, successfully launched products to global markets, and led highly complex programs at startup companies, and large organizations.  John provides proven abilities to analyze markets and trends, develop strategies, communicate complex ideas, and execute successful programs in the U.S. and internationally.  With his technology and professional experience he is able to work with people throughout an organization.  John has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MBA from the University of Dallas, and soon to be awarded a Master of Planning in Civic Urbanism from Rollins College.  He has been recognized with numerous awards for the organizations and projects he has supported both in the U.S. and internationally.  He is embracing opportunities to focus his professional and technical experience on the new challenges of sustainable community development and solving challenges to provide effective and sustainable development solutions.

Alex Lenhoff

Alex Lenhoff is a multi-cultural urban planner and designer with a focus on intercultural and community development through urban design.  His background includes undergraduate degrees in anthropology and foreign languages (Spanish, German) from the University of Central Florida.  He holds a master’s degree in bilingual education from the Universidad Alcalá de Henares in Madrid.  Alex combines his multi-cultural experiences and love of art in his work and is experienced in providing training solutions for government agencies. Alex will complete his Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Rollins College in 2013. In addition to his linguistic and cultural interests, he is a life-long artist.  Alex  brings  together his fine arts skills with new digital design skills to visualize and create meaningful, authentic communities.

Cheryl Mall

Cheryl Mall is an accomplished professional with a passion for creating better communities through environmental conservation, education, and sustainable urban planning. She has served on teams addressing some of the most pressing environmental issues of our day, including effective forest conservation and watershed protection in areas of rapid growth. An effective leader with strong analytical and planning skills, Cheryl has a keen ability to develop strategies that engage stakeholders at all levels, from legislative leaders to grassroots supporters. She has strong ties in the conservation and urban planning communities, enabling her to serve as a link to high-level professionals with expertise in areas ranging from environmental conservation, forestry, science, and policy; to land use law, urban planning, affordable housing, and urban economics. She holds a bachelor’s of art in history from The George Washington University, a Certificate in Proposal Writing from Rollins College, is an accredited member of the Congress for the New Urbanism, and will complete a master’s in planning degree from Rollins College in May 2012

Andrea Pérez

Andi Pérez is currently completing a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Rollins College (expected graduation Summer 2012). Her previous educational achievements include a Bachelors of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, in Economics with a minor in International Affairs (Rollins College), where Andi was awarded the honor of Top Economics Senior in her graduating class. Andi’s Peruvian heritage and years spent living in Johannesburg, South Africa have profoundly influenced her professional goals – leading to an interest in social and economic challenges faced in the field of urban planning, community organizing, and affordable housing. Andi has received accreditation from the Congress for the New Urbanism, is a member of the Florida Planning and Zoning Association, and is a Global Connections Foundation Fellow. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Kathy McDaniels

Kathy McDaniels is a Research Associate and Proposal Coordinator at Hahn&Hahn. She works closely with Bob Hahn in coordinating the project and proposal activities of the company’s think tank.  She has 25 years of experience in project/proposal writing in the urban planning and design field, including editing, designing, proofing, and layout.  Her research passions focus on the issues of building sustainable communities. Her life experience is one that connects details and people with a level of synergy that few in this life can produce. Kathy belives in passion and impacting the world. She is wife of one, mother of two, grandmother of seven, and passionate about more hobbies and interests than anyone you’ll meet.
