Every day at the Foundation for Foster Children we receive requests to help abused and neglected children. These frequently forgotten children, live, play and go to school in our communities. You may not know them personally, but these children need all of us. Due to neglect, abandonment or abuse typically caused by the people they love, foster children are removed from their home and placed in the care of strangers. These children due to no fault of their own experience great loss, many at an early age. Imagine being a child and not feeling cared about, accepted or even worthy of being loved. Moving from foster home to foster home and multiple schools so that even friendships are difficult to make or not long lasting.
